Beavers enjoy all that Scouting has to offer; being introduced to outdoor activities, having the opportunity to be creative, learning new skills, being part of a team, exploring their local community and experiencing the excitement of a Beaver Scout Sleepover with their friends.
We have two Beavers Colonies. Maple Beavers meet every Tuesday, from 6.15pm to 7.15pm and Birch Beavers meet every Thursday, from 6.15pm to 7.15pm.
When you join Cubs, you’ll be introduced to lots of new activities, people and experiences. Cubs have fun working together as part of a team. The activities become gradually more adventurous, including opportunities to enjoy camping.
We have two Cub Packs. Kestrel Cubs meet every Monday, from 6.30pm to 8.00pm and Kingfisher Cubs meet every Wednesday, from 6.45pm to 8.15pm.
Scouts aims to build and develop young people’s confidence, sense of adventure and outdoor skills, as well as encouraging them to explore their beliefs and attitudes and be creative. It offers them the independence to put these skills into practice at camps and activities.
The Scout Troop meet every Friday, from 7.00pm to 8.45pm.
Explorer Scouts are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities as part of their programme including traditional Scouting skills, such as camping, survival and cooking, as well as a wider spectrum of adventurous activities, from abseiling to zorbing.
The Phoenix Explorer Scout Unit meet every Tuesday, from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.
